Community radio provides the opportunity for people in local towns and  the region to participate in their community by way of radio broadcasting. Presenters are volunteers, and offer a diverse range of music throughout each day. This means you'll hear local people on the radio and more variety than other radio stations.

Importantly, EMFM 104.7 provides the opportunity for local people to be a part of the station, including on air, administration, promotions, sports coverage - and there's plenty more.  EMFM offers a great way to be part of a friendly team - with the aim to provide an excellent radio station for not only Echuca-Moama but all surrounding townships within our broadcast area...( see map). We provide training for people on all aspects of radio, both behind the scenes and on air.

If you wish to volunteer please complete both a membership form and the volunteer form. You must be a full member prior to becoming a volunteer.

Schools and sporting groups are welcome to apply for program time. Training is provided to get you going.
